How do I test a level I'm working on?

Playtesting your user levels is a very important part of level development. Don't forget, once you've submitted a user level to BULA, you can't update it's level code, so make sure it works exactly how you want it before submitting!

In Bito2, enter the Developer Tools menu by clicking Developer Tools under the User Levels button or by pressing [F2] on your keyboard.

Once in the Developer Tools menu, copy & paste the level code generated by Mapper into the "Level Code (no author info)" box.
Then click the "Quick-Run Level" button in the upper right to test your level!

How do I watch a replay of a runthrough of a level?

Watching other Bito2 players' replays is a great way to preview levels, figure out certain parts, learn tricks and more.
You can get replays from the comments section of a user level's page on BULA.

The first step is to get the level code of the level into the "Level Code (no author info)" box in the Developer Tools menu. This can be accomplished in a few ways. The simplest is just to copy the raw level code from BULA (or elsewhere), and paste it into the "Level Code (no author info)" box.

However, the easiest way is to actually navigate to the desired level in Bito2 and load it as if you were going to play it. Then press [F2] on your keyboard to enter the Developer Tools menu. If a confirmation window pops up, click Ok or press [ENTER] on your keyboard. You will then see the level code in the box.

Once you have the level code in the "Level Code (no author info)" box, all you need to do now is paste the replay code into the "Replay Code" box and click the "Quick-Run Level" button in the upper right to watch the replay!

How do I get replay code for a runthrough of a level?

Sharing replays is a very good and fun way to boast Bito2 skills, show off cool tricks, and prove completion of levels!

In Bito2, after completing or attempting a level, press [F2] on your keyboard to enter the Developer Tools menu. If a confirmation window pops up, click Ok or press [ENTER] on your keyboard.
You can also press [F2] while watching a replay to enter the Developer Tools menu and view the code of that replay!

In the Developer Tools menu, you will see the level code of the level you just played, and the replay code of your runthrough!
Click on the "Replay Code" box to select all, then copy the replay code and paste it wherever you want it! For instance, paste it in the Replay Code field of the Add A Comment form on the level's page on BULA!
